So, I can’t go back into my room. There are too many of them. Last time I touched my bed, they crawled all over my arms and hair.
Clearly, disposing of the bed is not an option. My wife has suggested a controlled fire. Can bedbugs survive that?

My place was infested with bedbugs.
I’m afraid that the bugs might have crawled into my purses. All name brands.
I know I can’t wash them, but can I put them into the dryer to kill the bugs? Would it ruin my bags?

At first I thought they were bedbugs but then one spread its wings & started flying so that ruled that option out. I found each on two separate occasions. I need to know how they got in my covers and what I need to do to get rid of them. I can’t sleep comfortable thinking there might be more somewhere in my mattress.. can anyone help??
Cockroaches don’t fly do they? This bug is as small as a fruit fly. I haven’t woken up with any type of bite that I’ve noticed…
i live in Los Angeles
***the bug might look large in pictures but it’s only around 2.5 millimeters (0.1 inches) like an ant or fruit fly… around that size***
I was looking at the website from the link below…. it looks a lot like a raspberry fruitworm…. I wonder if that’s what it is!
I really appreciate all your help =)

Is it possible to sue my neighbors for bed bugs ? Recently my house was raided with bedbugs and all my tenants got bites from bedbugs. They had to throw away their mattress, rugs, and other expensive items. My tenants and other neighbors are pointing fingers to my next door landlord in my block because he keeps his house in horrible condition and puts his garbage with no lid. Apparently this landlord had bed bugs before but tried to kill the bed bugs using commercial products ( I was told by one of his tenants). I hired a bed bug exterminator today and that sh*t cost A LOT! I was wondering if there is any way to prove that it is his fault my house is raided ?

We had a problem with bedbugs last summer, and I thought I got rid of them – after a major cleaning, fumagating, linnen and pillow bagging, covering mattresses with vinyl, etc.
They came back. I’m not the best housekeeper in the world, but we have other bug problem. Our cats and dogs have no fleas. I know these things are bedbugs – I took a close look with a magnifying glass and compared with pictures of the darn things in books.
Will an exterminator get rid of them for good? Any advice, commiseration, war stories will be appreciated!
That’s NO other bug problem.

See we had bedbugs last year. We got it from our neighbor.
You don’t think I know that to call the exterminator. Not only they came once but twice. Throwing furniture is not going to work, they can still hide in the cracks Its not our fault we have bedbugs, our neighbor was infested with them, there are like hundred of them in their apartment. (I am not kidding). After that the whole floor is infested with bedbugs. We got rid of it by ourselves; we were bedbugs free for eight months.
Bedbugs travel from one apartment from another. They hide someone else while the exterminator do there stuff, few days later they back again. Yesterday I saw the exterminator came to one of my neighbor and she is infested with bedbugs. Guess where the bedbugs go? My apartment!
I searched online that boric acid will help and to cover cracks.

My boyfriend lives in an apartment building. Over the past few months I notices bumps all over my body and becoming very itchy over night. We did find that the apartment has bed bugs and I may have possibly been taking them home with me unknowingly to my house. I saw a total of 6-7 bedbugs in my house. Does that mean my house id infested?? Also we bought tons of bed bug spray and bombs. I have not got bitten in the last two-three days so does that mean it worked??

Ok… a few weeks ago I started getting horrible bites at night. After realizing that they weren’t mosquito bites, I started reading and concluded that they are most likely bed bugs. I didn’t see any bugs, even after inspecting my bedroom, until a few days ago… but the bug I saw did not look like the pictures of bed bugs I see online. It is more narrow, and it doesn’t have those horizontal ridges I see in the pics. I trapped one and showed the pest control guy for our apartment, and he said it didn’t look like a bed bug… more like a weevil (which is a pantry pest). I agree, and so does my husband, but weevils do not bite, at least from what I’ve read. So now I’m seeing these little bugs every once in a while, and I don’t know what to do. I don’t really trust this apartment pest guy because he hasn’t even gotten back to me yet (he took the bug so he could research and try to identify it), and that was 4 days ago. I have no peace of mind that this is going to be taken care of, and I can’t even sleep. I want to move away and throw out everything I own. Someone please help me! I’m going insane! Are there different types of bedbugs that look different? I’m on the internet all day every day trying to figure this out.

When we moved my partner’s bed and couch over from an old apartment building, which has now been torn down, we had not realized that the "bites" which I was getting were from bedbugs. We later found out that others in the "old" building had experienced even worse infestations within their units. I had seen a skin doctor -he thought it might be fleas; I also saw family doctor-she thought it was stress. A year ago, we moved the furniture into my home and since then, I have had a few bites, nothing compared to before. We have found bedbugs live and of course killed them, and continue to vacuum the bed, etc. Currently, we are doing a complete hot wash and inspecting the bed every day to get the live ones-also not using bed now. Short of costly extermination, I thought that if we apply bleach to the areas where there could be larvae, that this might kill "it" before it hatches. Compared to before, I rarely get bitten-they do seem to like me better. Any answers to this?

I own a rental property and the tenants moved out because of bed bugs. I never had bedbugs before and they kept alot of trash in the property and I had a quarterly pest treatment, I kept the deposit for the expensive treatment and now they are unhappy. I was only notified of bed bugs when they moved out, they also didn’t rid the property of silver fish, roaches when they left as per the lease?

i recently found a bug in my bed and i’m not sure if it’s a bed bug. i looked up pictures of bed bugs and it didn’t really look like the ones in the pictures that were reddish brown. i also couldn’t find any other telltale signs of bedbugs (like blood drips or excrement). the one i found was flat and black and reminded me a little bit of a sunflower seed. can you tell me what it is? it’s creeping me out… and if it is a bed bug, what do i do next? help!

I have bed bugs. I get multiple bites on my hands almost every night.
I have enclosed the boxspring with a latex cover, but the bites continue. I've sprayed with Home Depot insecticide, which says on the bottle that it kills bedbugs. I've sprayed every inch of my bedroom with this junk, multiple MULTIPLE times, including spraying the mattress. I've also done the routine of washing all bedding in hot water (I do it just about weekly).
I've spent so much money on this, it's ridiculous, from replacing pillows to paying exterminators to buying mattress enclosures. Do I really have to just accept that insects dine on my blood nightly and smear it on my sheets as they depart? Do I have to move and trash all furniture and belongings? Should I go to bed in a beekeeper's suit? What's a guy to do?
