Terminix sent me a bottle of this special spray to spray for bugs. Well last night before bed I sprayed it all over my floors. It said it was safe for kids and dogs. I woke up in the middle of the night and the house stunk horrible. This morning I woke up and bleached my entire house.

Will this make me really sick??

Please give me effective tips on how to get rid of them. My landlord is being cheap and will try again some bed bug spray.. But she did this before and I was still having bites. I told her we can try again, with her spray, but if it persists I am asking her to contact professional. is there anyone there who has been able to get rid of their bed bug issues effectively? Please some tips, especially names of effective control products to use.

Moving is expensive and requires a lot of effort. And my bed, I bought it only about 6 months ago. It was expensive, but I figured it was something I could use for a long time. Even if I move if my bed has some hanger ons the problem would just follow me. I am pretty clean, so its not a cleanliness issue. I did notice gaps in the wood trim.. its an older apt building. I found out there was an old bed bug issue in this building. Land lady said she only had the infected unit sprayed by professional.

Please help! I am having multiple bites per day Any good and effective products for this issue?

I saw a spider in my bed yesterday, so I sprayed bug spray in the corners of my room and around my bed. I cracked the window to get rid of the fumes so I wouldn’t be breathing that as I slept. Is it safe to spray it around my bedroom on a weekly to fend off spiders or is there something natural that works (I’m petrified of them!)?
I thought bug killer and bug spray was the same thing?

I have what looks like beg bug or flea bite all over my body and up leg an arms..I first thought it might bed bugs after about a week i went an got a bunch of different sprays and powder to kill bed bugs/ other insects..Its been 5 days and i still wake up in the middle of the night feeling like somethin very small is crawling on me but when i look (and I’ve checked everywhere!!) no sign of bed bugs or blood anywhere..What insect could it be that is too small to see?

I talked with a professional exterminator and they said the problem will continue until they fumagate each building. I’m sick of fighting the problem. Someone please help. It’s also a Section 8 and Hud Complex. They just do an apartment if they find out they have bed bugs. The exterminatior said they will keep coming back until the buildings are done in completion of one building at a time. I’ve went out and bought bed bug spray myself. I can’t afford to live this way. It’s very unhealthy and unsanitary.

I’m currently not working and can not afford much of anything.. Therefore, I can not afford an exterminator or even plastic bed covers.

What I have bought is hot shot bed bug and flea aerosol spray.
My concern is using it on my mattress.
I do not own and can not afford a steam cleaner.
Is it safe to spray hot shot on your mattresses and just let it dry and vacuum?
Is it safe to spray on clothes in your home? (not the clothes you’re wearing, but the ones in your closet, drawers, ect.)

I threw out the infested mattress last week, and I sprayed everything with the bully bed bug spray. I vacuumed so much my carpet looks brand new. I’ve checked furniture and everything. Last nite I was awake and killed about 10 big ones. what more can I do?

Okay so I am pretty sure that I have bed bugs, I found 1 yesterday and have a bite mark on my arm, I inspected everything and havent found any since, but I still want to use a treatment, I really cant afford to get a professional to come and spray for me, so im wondering if anyone knows any bug spray that will work ? Okay, we have been living in a multiple apartment complex and have had to have the landlord spray for bed bugs 3 times and I’m still being bitten. Two days ago was the 3rd time within an 8-month period. We caught a live specimen the last 2 times. I cannot find them, but they are eating me up. I’m on medication because of the pain and allergic reaction I have to them. My boyfriend and I are both disabled, and around 60ish and will be moving to Florida in October for good and have been saving a little money to enable us to do this. Moving between now and then doesn’t make sense when we have just a few more months to go. When we called him, he was irate and right down nasty, I was not moved one bit because we pay our rent on time and to the penny, never ever been late not once. However, he did come to spray the next day, but I’m still being bitten even after 2 days. I want to call professional exterminators and pay for it myself and take it off the rent. I don’t want to cause us to get put out when we’re so close to just leaving the state altogether. Can I do that and how would I go about it? Will someone help me please!

I wash every clothes that i have in hot water and put the on dryer
i seal all cracks with tape in my wall and corners
and i check and spray the bed and cabinets none of these method dont work
I dont know what to do this morning i saw one dead bed bug on the middle of my bed when i woke up and had bites on my foot. Should I hired a exterminator i live in NYC please help

Is our cat in danger?

We used it twice over a few days. Now I am reading it is highly toxic to cats. She even slept on a treated bed last night. She us showing no signs that she has been affected by it, but I am paranoid.

I moved to the new furnished apartment at the end of January. The first night there, I saw a bed bug. It looked exactly like one on the pictures. What strange about it, is that it was around 11 pm and all the lights were turned on when the beg came out. I freaked out and called my landlord immediately. The next day the exterminator came and inspected the mattress. He didnt find any signs of bed bugs, but sprayed the whole apartment anyway. Since then, I have never had any bites ( I didnt even have them the first night) and never seen any blood on the sheets or any other signs. My bf stayed over couple of times, but didnt have any bites either.
Its april now and I was sure that they magically disappeared until my friend told me today that some ppl might get bitten for months and never have any visible bites. She also told me that poison never kills them and if I saw one in January, I might still have them. Help!!!! Im freaking out!!!
Is it possible I have them and me and my bf dont get any reaction? Did I have them in the first place? Is it possible that there was only one bed bug living in the apartment and when I killed it, there were none left?

This is counter intuitive, but my family won’t stop pestering me about the bed bug treatment I ordered. I’m trying to do well for these people, but they keep saying that spraying chemicals on the box spring/bed frame and in the dresser chests will contaminate clothing and be toxic to them–and potentially poison or kill them.

Isn’t it a little counter intuitive to think that a bed bug treatment would be harmful to humans? Do they have a point?

A couple of months ago I started waking up with bug bites which itch, they look like mosquito bites. The weirdest thing is that my spouse does not and we sleep in the same bed! I changed the bed sheets, sprayed bug spray around our bedroom, and every other morning I still wake up with a new bug bite. Again, only I get these itchy things that look like a mosquito bites and Im starting to think I have bugs in my body.
Can anyone give me a medical explanation for this? Is this normal or do I have human lice???
the bites that i get are more like mosquito bites and they appear in random places on my body(like i have one on the tip of my nose and another on my leg and two on my arm) NOT in groups of 3-4. And they are red bumps, there is not sign of an actual bite.

Hi! I recently found my daughters bed infested with bed bugs..so I threw her mattress out and dresser. I have been thinking we might have had them because I’ve been getting bit for about a month now. I searched my bed and found no evidence..except one day I was laying on the bed and seen a bed bug crawling right towards me! I don’t know what to do.. I called Orkin out earlier and he didnt see any in my room, but did find a dead one in my daughters room. I have a 4 bedroom mobile home and it would be 200.00 a room or 900 for the heat treatment. What should I do??? Should i try and treat it myself? I’ve been vaccuming constantly and have hardwood floors. Ive sprayed a bed bug spray but still getting bites at night. No one else is but me, but my son has had a few bites on him. Shoud I just pay for mine and my daughters room to get treated or the heat? please help..my friend seems to think im just crazy…but im getting bites all over!
Yeah, i’ve read alot that foggers do not work, it only makes it worse. I just got a call from a local pest control that would charge 250 to do the house and i would have to sign a 5 month contract for them to come back and spray for 40.00 a month. Should i go with Orkin(which is an older company) or the local company thats cheaper? Im just so tired of all this…I feel like im being eaten out of my home..and who has money for all this crap? Im just lucky I guess because I have money in savings, but definetly wasnt looking to spend it on this.

Is it ok to use the "new" avon bug spray after I shower and go to bed with it on? I don’t like to leave the DEET stuff on me and after I shower I always get bitten by one or two mosquitoes in the house. I don’t want to go to bed with DEET on so I am looking for something that doesn’t stink but is safe to wear to go to bed. Before I go around town hunting for ingredients to make my own, I’d like to know if the avon stuff is ok for this purpose before I try to make my own.
I don’t wear it just for bed. I don’t shower right before I go to bed, especially if I have to wash my hair, so when I’m just around the house afterwards, I get bit. I want to know what I can wear that is safe that doesn’t need to be washed off and I can put on after I shower that will keep them off. I live in FL and am tired of wearing pants it’s really really really hot.

So I’m only 13 and I have a bed bug problem and I’m freaking out. So far its only in my room (everyone else checked their beds and sprayed as precaution) but I don’t know if we have enough money for an exterminator but I need one because spraying isn’t helping any. Please help, I wake up hyperventilating and crying because it scares me….. I need a great exterminator that will come back and do it again if they don’t get them the first time.

When I started changing my bed, I noticed this small black tiny bug. It was crawling around…so it wasn’t dead. I picked it up and killed it of course. I only found one…but I’m just wondering what it is and if there could be more, where to look for them? I have a day bed. I changed my bed now and also sprayed it with Lysol, so I hope that helps! Could the bug have crawled onto me or my dog from outside? My dog sleeps with me all the time. I don’t think my dog has fleas or anything. She hasn’t been scratching or biting. Thanks for any help…I don’t want bed bugs! UGH!

Last week I found that I have bed bugs. I automatically knew it was my neighbor – I live in a condo building. My neighbor is an old man who has clutter EVERYWHERE. His place is a wreak. He has multiple rental units and brings stuff that people left to his place. It’s just plain nasty. I had an exterminator come yesterday to spray and he also had to check my neighbors place, who happened to have hundreds behind his headboard and his place was covered in black droppings. The exterminator found about 30 live ones in my place. Who knows how long he had them. My HOA is forcing my neighbor to have his place professionally cleaned,even though he wanted to do it himself. My question is, I know I got them from him but I can’t prove it. Is there any legal action I can take if they come back again? He’s a dirty old man and I know this is going to happen again in a matter of time when he continues bringing things and strange characters into his place. Is my only option to move??
This is a CONDO, not an apartment. I own this place, as well as my neighbor. I don’t have a landlord but I do have a HOA, home owners association. I am responsible for my extermination costs unfortunetly since I’m an owner. The exterminator said he can’t prove it, but it’s more than likely since he is infested worse than I am. Luckily I’m staying at my parents, where i can actually get a good nights sleep.

Ok, so I know now to use rubbing alcohol, to help get rid of these nasty little things….but what do I do about the tv’s? radio, etc? I dont want to spray it with alchohol, because it will ruin the inside. So what do you think I should do. Any help would be helpful.

So for a few weeks now almost every night I find a single bug crawling around (quite quickly) in my bed always on my sheets. And every night when I find it I capture it in a tissue and stab it through the tissue and it’s blood and crap pops out the I flush it. It’s like the size of a tic I think, and has the appearance of a head lice bug a little bit but is of course much bigger. Ik it’s not bed bugs because for one I’d be waking up with many bites and I don’t think I’ve had any bites. Plus I’m pretty sure bed bugs are too small to see with the naked eye. I’ve tried washing my sheets, blankets, pillows, pillow cases, and the stuffed animals on my bed, I even got completely new bedding and everything and nothings worked and I really am not comfortable with finding a strange bug in my bed every night does anybody know what this might be and know what I can do?!?! I just killed one like 5 minutes ago please help me!! my mom hasn’t known what to do either we’ve been spraying my bed with hair spray that’s the same brand as the shampoo I started using for a while when I was little to get rid o head lice (Paul Mitchell is the brand) I’ve never had lice since btw so if you are readin this and happen to have lice, use that stuff. The store treatments and mayonnaise don’t work. But anyway, please help me

these bed bugs are persistant, we got the apt. sprayed and seemed like it did the job, but now a month later they seem to be back in full force, ive been using alchol which works extremly well just a bit strong on the smell, was just kinda wondering if anyone has suggestions that could help me out
