Can you die from spraying bug spray on the floor of your house?
Bed Bug Spray October 8th, 2011Terminix sent me a bottle of this special spray to spray for bugs. Well last night before bed I sprayed it all over my floors. It said it was safe for kids and dogs. I woke up in the middle of the night and the house stunk horrible. This morning I woke up and bleached my entire house.
Will this make me really sick??

Now you have to start over. You bleached all the properties off
Did you follow the directions on the label? "It said it was safe for kids and dogs". That means it’s safe. You overdid it.

YES IT WILL its not supposed to be on the floor more in the corners of a room you may get infection

I sprayed the floor with bug spray the other day because there was a wasp on the floor! I’m still here!!

Most bug sprays smell bad. That doesn’t mean they will make you ill, but they are a type of poison. It’s possible that you personally may have a bad reaction to it, but just a bad smell should not do you real harm.

Guessing it was their "SafeShield" product, it is just a mixture of various essential oils, so you should have no ill effects, now over using the bleach could be a different story…
